 Creation Science Creation Science: The Effort of Creationists
Creationists, mainly the fundamentalists, are making a great and moving effort to apply the scientific methodology to their research. They start from some presumptions that are principles of faith: The Bible is the Word of God and, as such, it is infallible. According to the biblical accounts, the creation of the world occurred between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. From there, they (creationists) look for proof that this is, indeed, the age of the Earth. At the same time, they search for errors in scientific measurements that point to an age greater than 4 billion years.
